Pamba River Water Level Rises in Ranni

In Ranni, the water level in Pamba River has been rising steadily for the last few days, and people residing by the bank of the river has been informed to be alert and cautious. Heavy rain prevails in Pathanamthitta district, especially in the forest regions that has caused the water level to jump up in the Pamba River.

The Upasana Kadavu in Ranni, is one of the major indicators of the rising water level since a long time, and today morning also, the water level has started breaching the road leading to the kadavu. Water has started flowing towards the road and people are remaining vigilant so as to avoid any kind of issues. Two More Village Offices In Ranni Constituency are Getting Smart

 Ranni Constituency is becoming smart by the implementation of smart village offices in two villages. The Smart Village Offices at Cherukole and Chettakkal in Ranni, which have been completed at a cost of Rs 44 lakh each, will be handed over to the constituency tomorrow by Hon'ble Minister of Revenue Department Shri.K.Rajan.

In order to make the services related to the village office available to the people quickly, plans are underway to make all the village offices in the mandal smart. It is expected that the rest of the villages in Ranni Constituency will also be made smart by the end of next year. Any how, this is truly a great initiative headed by the Ranni MLA Shri Pramod Narayanan, and will help in making all the official tasks much easier.
