This is an old picture of block pady junction in Ranni, that was taken by Suneesh Kurian, who is an autorickshaw drive at blockpady junction in Ranni. In the picture we can see an old banyan tree, which was once a major landmark for this place. Unfortunately, the banyan tree was removed from the place on behalf of the expansion of Punalur-Muvattupuzha State highway and now it has become a treasured memory for all. A great applause to Suneesh Kurian, who took this amazing and memorable picture of Blockpady junction some time back.

Ranni Perumpuzha to Blockpady Junction Road Trip on Car
A car trip from Perumpuzha junction in Ranni to Blockpady, along the newly constructed Punalur-Muvattupuzha State highway in Kerala. The road has been widened enough, but the curves near Thottamon Kavu Devi Temple and Thottamon Orthodox Cathedral Church still looks as dangerous as ever.
Lot of accidents and mishaps are still happening on these spots due to the hectic curves, and this is something that should have been avoided while constructing and widening the old road. So while travelling through this route, be careful enough, otherwise, the ride is a smooth one.
