An Old Picture of BlockPady Junction in Ranni

This is an old picture of block pady junction in Ranni, that was taken by Suneesh Kurian, who is an autorickshaw drive at blockpady junction in Ranni. In the picture we can see an old banyan tree, which was once a major landmark for this place. Unfortunately, the banyan tree was removed from the place on behalf of the expansion of Punalur-Muvattupuzha State highway and now it has become a treasured memory for all. A great applause to Suneesh Kurian, who took this amazing and memorable picture of Blockpady junction some time back.

Blockpady is a strategical junction in Ranni town, where the road diverges into two. One diverts to Kozhencherry, while the other one leads towards Pathanamthitta town. But now the Banyan tree is no more present, and some bus waiting terminals have been constructed nearby, for the passengers to board on and off public transports.
